Yesterday, the Auckland-based progressive rockers Outside In released their latest single, The Ferryman.
Outside In includes 5 artistic musicians: Mikey Brown (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Adam Tobeck (drums), Elliot II Seung (bass), Joe Park (guitar), and Jonnie Barnard (guitar). Their latest song ‘The Ferryman’ takes you on a journey between the physical world and the spiritual world. When you listen to it you will feel that every note in its right place even if, at first, when the vocal started, it gives me the feeling of pop-rock 90s singing style, and actually, I like that too. Its originality pours out of every note yet the classic progressive influences come across as evident. There is not a second that will not be enjoyed after listening to this physical/spiritual journey.
