The heavy sound of Ape Revolution Bell comes to us from Dubrovnik, Croatia. A 6-piece band whose proficiency in English, they say, puts no limits to where they can perform or how big they can grow. They are also a strong live act that’s ready and willing to play all the recorded arrangements for an hour-and-a-half-long set. Impressive portfolio for the band which is finally ready to release their debut studio album, which brings us nicely to their 2022 single ‘Smile’.

‘Smile’ features simplistic songwriting that’s not devoid of nuances. Mostly conventional in its structure, the song’s arrangement is pure adrenaline-pumping. From the overdriven, delicious-sounding guitar riffs, the tight drum grooves, or the utterly fantastic and soaring vocal solo.
