It’s Christmas Party Time is a very special holiday season song by Mick J Clark and it is a beautiful Christmas anthem with 80s vibes and some joyous church bells that are bound to get you floating above in a sled with Santa once you hear it.

The song begins with the drum beat right away, and I love the way the drums are tuned and the sweet high hat sound accompanying them. In a way that I cannot fully grasp, the church bell Mick uses here sounds like it belongs to a famous Christmas carol, but it also feels new and fresh. It’s a kind of nostalgia you can’t really place or relate to a song that’s been made before.

The folk-ish nature of the arrangement and the arrangement is decorated with Mick’s beautiful airy vocals. It’s great to see him retain the tone and power of his voice as he slides up and down the scale, maintaining his tone and timbre effortlessly as if it’s some easy job (believe you me, it’s not).

What made me describe the song as anthemic, are the beautiful lyrics that paint a mental picture of Christmas time, as well as the ambient sounds of people singing along, laughing and just enjoying their time. Mick J Clark delivers more than he promises with that catchy song title, and I think everyone should check out the rest of his Christmas album and his versatile discography on Spotify and all major streaming platforms. Cheers, and merry early Christmas.

A CHRISTMAS ANTHEM TO PEACE AND HOPE FOR THE WORLD – A MUCH NEEDED RELEASE IN THE MIDST OF TODAY’S WORLD

Mick J. Clark’s release, “Glory Glory Hallelujah,” is a heartfelt Christmas song that transcends the festive season, delivering a powerful message for humanity. The song cleverly blends traditional Christmas themes with an urgent call for unity and love, a sentiment that feels deeply resonant and almost timeless in today’s unfortunately fractured world.

The song opens with timeless imagery of goodwill and gifts beneath the Christmas tree, immediately evoking the joy and warmth of the season. The chorus, “Sing glory glory hallelujah,” reverberates like an anthem, capturing the essence of hope and the collective yearning we all feel for a better world and a better tomorrow.

Each verse builds on the central message, weaving biblical references such as the journey of the three wise men to Bethlehem, as well as adding a heartfelt prayer for peace and harmony. The poignant lines in the third and fourth verses, “A silent night when the world don’t fight is what we’re all praying for,” and, “Give us hope one day that the world can say that hatred is no more,” are also indeed striking a chord; offering a vision of what humanity might achieve through compassion and understanding. Asserting that we, collectively, have enormous power and potential, and we should absolutely keep that in mind.

Clark’s deeply heartfelt vocals lend sincerity to the track, while the arrangement of the music complements its lyrical depth, balancing traditional Christmas tones with a universal appeal. The chorus is almost an anthem, inspiring listeners to not just hum along but also think and reflect on its meaning.

What makes “Glory Glory Hallelujah truly stand out is its ability to be both a festive celebration and a global plea for change. The lyrics emphasize that peace is the greatest gift we can give to our children; a sentiment that Santa’s sleigh can’t deliver but humanity can indeed achieve through love and unity.

This song aligns with Clark’s reputation for music with purpose, as seen in his past works addressing global issues like bullying, self-harm, and environmental challenges. With this release, Mick J. Clark adds another timeless gem to his repertoire, a song that not only spreads festive cheer but also inspires listeners to dream of a better and a more harmonious world.

A song of hope, faith, and love, “Glory Glory Hallelujah” reminds us that the spirit of Christmas is about more than gifts and warm gatherings, it’s about creating a legacy of peace for generations to come; a message that’s bigger and deeper and much more resonant. So let this timeless anthem guide you through this holiday season this year, with its powerful message of unity, hope and joy. Let it remind you that there is still hope in this universe, and together there is always hope for a better world and a better tomorrow..

Happy holidays, everyone, and Glory Glory Hallelujah!

If you think it is a little early for Christmas festivities, then allow Mick J. Clark to attempt to change your mind with his gorgeously warm ‘It’s Getting Near Christmas’.

A song, in Mick J. Clark’s usual vain, about the joys of the normalcy of everyday life as Christmas draws near, ‘It’s Getting Near Christmas’ benefits from Clark’s expressive vocals, colorful and inspiring lyrics, and his wonderful sense for warm and joyful melodies. Clark is an English singer and songwriter based in Croydon. Award nominated and with 1,000,000+ streams to his songs across streaming platforms, it is easy to see Clark knows a thing or two about writing an enjoyable and relatable song.

‘It’s Getting Near Christmas’ is a song that charmingly blends bittersweet melancholy with syrupy Christmas time cheerfulness. With a composition that is readily hopeful but with pronounced pockets of under-the-weather chord changes and spectral oohs, the song is realistically colored, painting a relatable image about enjoying the holidays and all the joy and change they bring, while being grounded in the fact that life never stops, and that gratitude and happiness should not be exclusive for the last week of the year.

With its peppy rhythms and warm, engaging arrangement, Mick J. Clark’s ‘It’s Getting Near Christmas’ does not disappoint, just like the remainder of his songs. A warm, pretty, and well thought out song.
