The song begins with a heavily effected guitar sound and Kim D’Ambrogi’s romantic ethereal vocals shortly follow it. The moment she sings that serene verse, you feel elements from the sweet timbre of Stevie Nicks and the seductive playfulness of Amy Winehouse. She’s definitely one of the finest vocalists nowadays.

The chorus soars above the verses, although it’s a clear single layer of vocals (or at least no prominent backing vocals) but it’s powerful and effective enough to remain in your memory for days after you listen to the track. 

Last but not least, the bass guitar, drums, and the vocal mixing all make an amazing 60s-70s psychedelic undertone in the midst of the modern production. It’s truly a mindblowing fusion of elements from multiple eras and subgenres of rock.
