Talent knows no age limits. The rising Los Angeles pop artist Edie Yvonne recently dropped her latest single, “Changed My Mind,” just a few days ago, and it’s truly fantastic!

First of all, Edie has already had a pretty amazing year and she’s just getting started…at 15 years old, she’s already created a solid musical charisma and presence…and now, working with producer Douglas Boehm for the “No Rain” cover.

The original song has a somewhat upbeat nature and gets pretty wild near the end of its runtime with some unleashed rock guitar solos…what Edie does is take this energy and slows it down, going for a more somber and melancholic direction.

Edie’s vocals are ear candy, with every lyric she performs you’re treated to some of the most charismatic vocals you’ll get to experience this year…Edie’s performance is full of emotions to the brim, both an excellent singer and an amazing performer.

The cover doesn’t change the music but drastically changes the vibe and energy completely, the cover’s dramatic and slowed-down version is absolutely mesmerizing and instantly hooking.

We wish Edie all the best, may 2024 be an even more epic year for her.

Cheers!

Edie Yvonne is an LA-based young star who is keeping her music mature and her sound accomplished. Every time I hear a new release, I’m amazed by Edie’s ability to express her feelings and personal experiences through introspective lyrics and coherent storytelling, as well as astonished by her powerful vocals.

“Darkness Bliss” is as its title suggests. It has a dark atmosphere, a dark story, and a dark performance. Through enticing, moving storytelling, as Edie’s emotional voice, with both vulnerable and powerful qualities, carries the bitterness that lies in every lyric, the song conveys a tale of a broken friendship that many can relate to.

The song begins with dramatic guitar riffs, setting the stage for Edie Yvonne‘s ethereal vocals to take center stage. The melancholic, edgy vibe that has been set right from the start remains throughout the track. The guitar and vocals harmonize pretty well, as if they’re singing together, soaring in a united melody, making the sky dark and shiny at the same time.

The fusion of indie pop and indie rock suits the theme and Edie’s vocals best. The overall production by Nicky Swedin and Cormac Liotta makes the song effortlessly demand repeated listens, as you get to enjoy the aesthetics of every element and how they flow and blend naturally together.

With many generic pop songs out there, Edie Yvonne makes sure to release a standout piece that demonstrates her blended sound and highlights her vocal abilities. “Darkness Bliss” below serves as a palpable testament.

Stay tuned and wait for the remarkable talent’s next release, “Girl Code.” I’m sure it will be mind-blowing!

Edie Yvonne is a 14-year-old singer-songwriter, and what was on my mind after learning this fact and listening to her discography was “Wow! This is unbelievable.” Edie has impressive talent as a singer and songwriter, and both of them are illustrated in her latest release.

“On Your Mind” is a mature song, musically and emotionally, written by a young star who’s ahead of her age. From start to finish, Edie will keep you on your toes, wondering along with the chorus, “What’s on your mind?” Her dulcet vocals are surely the centerpiece of the track. She has such a powerful voice, yet she manages to carry vulnerability, curiosity, and longing in her tone.

The single is guitar-driven, and its pace perfectly matches the emotional complexity. It keeps one engaged with the rhythms, and one can’t help but sing along and vibe. It’s amazing how every element expresses wonder and yearning. The blend of Pop, Folk, and Rock is spicing up the track.

The rising artist has released six singles in the last six months. It’s crystal clear how ambitious, gifted, and hardworking she is. She’s paving her way with sincere, vibrant music, and soon her star will be shining among Pop icons.
