This scene sets the foundation of the song’s story…it tells the story of how the friends of the protagonist pranked him…by agreeing with a very attractive red-dress wearing model to approach him in the bar…and when they started talking, they went back to the motel…the protaginist, not knowing the prank that was laid for him went with her to back to the motel and as soon as he walks in the room…insteading of getting lucky, he saw all of his friends waiting for him, having a huge laugh!

“The Warden” is the spiritual successor to “A Troubled Mind”, both of these songs have some common soul and a common message…one of awareness, awareness of the wars that each of us might be having from within, yet no one could tell…

The song goes into the heavy subject of mental health and how we could get trapped as prisoners in our minds, yet, Glenn explores this very real and very complex concept through both the visual and sonic realms…let’s see how he managed to achieve this…
