New York based singer and songwriter Guy Simoneau’s sound can be safely categorized as pop country with heavier tendencies to rock. On ‘One Good Life’ Simoneau blends a slow and steady tempo with an open-faced composition and a guitar-driven arrangement for a sound that’s rich, warm, and familiar.

The reassuring single implores listeners to cherish the present moment, to live in it surrounded by friends and loved ones, sharing authentic moments of connection instead of texts and being constantly preoccupied by the dominating hustle culture of the times. Simoneau does this through poignant and easygoing lyrics, a raw and vulnerable delivery, an uplifting composition based on his acoustic guitar performance, and an arrangement dominated by ethereal oohs and aahs that give ‘One Good Life’ an unquestionably anthemic feel.

Produced by Adam Halpern, ‘One Good Life’ and its accompanying video are beautifully put together, sounding a looking colorful and fresh. Simoneau’s music is a testament to his honed musical skills acquired over his 4-decade long career spanning Maine to California. With potent lyrics, engaging and touching music, and soulful deliveries, Guy Simoneau’s ‘One Good Life’ promises a lot more goodness to come.
