The song begins with atmospheric brightly toned guitars soaring and roaring with energy, shortly followed by a thumping bass sound and the heavenly vocals from JD. The way the first verse and chorus are song let me envision myself in a concert in the 60s or 70s in a small venue, without any phones, and with everyone engaging with JD’s vocals and sound. It’s mind-blowing how such a cleanly produced song can bring these nostalgic vibes. 

The drum lines are versatile, and the bass is heavily present and there are even some backing vocals in the final hook outro that made tap my feet and dance around while listening…the level of sheer joy and happiness that this song brings is second to none.

Bottom line is, for those of you who love Country Rock and Southern Rock but haven’t really delved into the more “Americana” artists, then JD Hinton is the right pick for you. Especially with the song “Your Him” and the bar party atmosphere it brings along. Cheers.
