Collaborating with Cinnamon Babe for the first time Love Ghost, has unveiled ‘Do You Like Me Now?’, a scorching nu-metal energiser that delivers a startling and unfiltered message to the pair’s doubters. The cymbal-heavy drumming, palm-muted rhythms and overall fierce instrumental atmosphere are the perfect backdrop to a fast-paced and angered delivery. These moments of volcanic scale are in contrast with softer sections, stripping back the aggression for a pensive and gentle approach, making the roar of the choruses all the more powerful. Cinnamon Babe’s rhythmic delivery is a powerful alternative to Love Ghost’s melody-driven passion, a match made in heaven for a vibrant chest-thumping anthem.

Finn shares, “Stormi (Cinnamon Babe) and I wanted to send a love letter to all our haters- that was the inspiration.” Continuing to share his mission, “These songs, to me, are really all threaded together by time. The music video is super creative and highly enjoyable…and what makes it that enjoyable is the absolutely mind blowing guitar riff, diverse vocal styles of both artists and the very high quality standards of recording and engineering…

Love Ghost puts his soaring and powerful vocals to new heights, absolutely amazing, while Cinnamon Babe goes for a rock vocal flow that mixes between rock and rap, think Rage Against The Machine…and that’s not to say that her vocals doesn’t soar as high…no sire, she really blows the roof off of this experience.

Love Ghost’s most recent single sees him collaborate with Mexican rapper ND Kobi, alongside producer Shantra who is set to unveil a collaborative album with Love Ghost soon. ‘God Damn’ is another track that blends Love Ghost’s nostalgic and emotive alternative rock sensibilities with vibrant rap production. As the dark guitar arpeggios settle into a hazy backdrop of soft plucks and light synth melodies, heavy 808s and rattly drum tops energise his subdued performances and heartfelt writing. Love Ghost is introspective across the track, lacing his pain with relatability before the stirring flow of ND Kobi comes in to support.

I enjoyed how the melody played a significant role in “Time Travel”, with the orchestral strings being a remarkable addition. This was especially captivating when paired with the well-crafted animated music video by Sketch AMV. Through both the visuals and the music, the song effectively conveys the story of a troubled girl seeking to undo her past and break free from demons, a narrative that resonates with the singer’s life.

Yung Dupe’s bridge addition was impressive, acting as a smooth transition for the listeners and enhancing the cinematic experience with the incredible strings. Love Ghost recently toured Europe and performed at the Rockpalast festival, broadcasted across Germany on German television. The artist has received praise from critics and fans, and I personally consider him to be one of the outstanding artists.
