They are one of the bands who are recognized as slow-burning sound lean on heavy and doom roots alike. Frankly, I had the chance to have a chat with the guys before reviewing their record but I listened to their album for sure, you can find throughout my interview how I was really amazed by their output and keeping such vintage ’80s elements and putting them in a perfect modern shape. Metal music has a huge part in my life for almost 20 years now, and to be frank with you, I rarely when I enjoyed a full album of slow heavy metal style, kinda found it boring, and sometimes monotonous as well! One of the main points that I loved their debut album, because I guarantee you that 8-tracks and you’ll never get such boring by any means, and I believe behind this is several elements, but let’s summarize it to major points such as warm and powerful vocals, impressive guitar riffs, sweet and marvellous soloing, and a very tight experienced rhythm. it’s a fact, Sweden is one of the countries that doesn’t need an introduction and that back to several iconic acts including Candlemass, Bathory, Meshuggah, Opeth, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquility, and a huge countless list of names, but let me tell you that you need to add this trio to your Swedish music library for sure.

I believe that one of the main factors behind the success of this album is the songwriting and the theme of the conceptual lyrics: “The debut self-titled album is about one archaeologist and his crew of ambitious henchmen and their descent into the cavernous realm below the crust of the earth.” – the band explained their impressive concept. Actually, I don’t exaggerate when I tell you that I loved the whole album, and I didn’t find any negative points at all. Also, I’d like to salute the mixing engineer to provide such a great output really. Now, it’s time to feel the beauty.
