Pressure opened Heroes Will Fall with a tribal chant, announcing the arrival of the final battle in Demonic Oath. It’s an open-sounding, extremely powerful tune with big riffs, strong dominating vocals, and an irresistible groove that pushes the dynamics forward, forging an epic start. With a melodic build-up and a calmer yet heavy sound, Demon Warrior hits next. It has a theatrical escalating sound with a solid, relentless progression that flows smoothly towards a dramatic ending. The drum work on this one was very detailed and interesting, skillfully boosting the song’s dynamic shifts while keeping the blasting heavy sound rolling. Pressure had me right from Metal Morning‘s sharp rocking vocals and intense heavy metal sound. It has an ever-changing multi-layered sound with a big moving progression and subtle symphonics that elevate the whole song’s mood and soften its neck-breaking twists and turns that sent me off my seat headbanging. Demon Huntress picks up the heaviness and adds to its texture with raw crunchy riffs and deep slapping bass. It has a relentless flow that powerfully leads the listeners throughout its super catchy sound with diverse riffing styles, vocal deliveries, and surprising sound shifts. My Old Dagger ends Heroes Will Fall‘s epic journey on a high note, offering a big theatrical sound with powerful catchy dynamics and an interesting setup. Pressure‘s performance peaks at this point, introducing their story’s final chapter with big theatricals, expressive vocal delivery, and heavily melodic guitars.

Pressure takes us on a heavy, folky journey in Demon Warrior. It has a powerful melodic core cleverly mixed with layers of heavy riffs, fast-pounding drums, and deep bass, all topped by a solid vocal melody with a catchy epic delivery that completes the song’s theatricals. The guitar work is wild and roaring which matches the title, it fuels the song’s dynamics and dramatic shifts as it progresses gaining momentum as our story moves forward. Demon Warrior has a big multi-layered structure that was neatly handled by tight arrangements, as you can hear every element taking its time and space to shine and get noticed all while keeping the song’s changing dynamics going and the listeners hooked.

Demon Warrior shows us a bit more of what Pressure are offering in their upcoming EP, it seems that these guys are taking more bold and steady steps towards bigger and more theatrical sound which shows that they are evolving and moving forward. Demonic Oath opens with a tribal groove and a subtle prayer that directly takes us into a heavy theatrical verse. The riffs are attacking and extremely dynamic with vocal melodies laying an expressive story-telling layer over the music, with the diverse deliveries and changes in flow and pace introducing something new to the mix as we move forward, keeping things fresh and interesting. It has a solid dynamic structure as usual, with Pressure’s significant dramatic twists and turns and catchy hooks that keep you hooked and entertained. Demonic Oath has an unstoppable driving groove that carries its melodic flow and solidly supports its energetic riffs, adding a deep hard-hitting base to its highly melodic sound.

Demonic Oath is a very clever pick for the lead single by Pressure, it promises a lot of their upcoming EP as they are clearly refining their sound and progressing more in their writing and production, pushing their energy and boundaries further. From Sweden, the Alternative Rock band Pressure that successfully manages to play multiple genres and blend them forming a wonderful fusion that grabs your ear’s attention through this wild track “All The Things”.

“All The Things” is a journey to pursue your instincts and let go of the social constraints that are holding us down from being our true selves.

The track begins with a rocking guitar lick, along with the drumming that Inserts the rocking vibe within, in fact, it made it easier to determine whether the track is influenced by rock or pop for instance.

The vocals are very powerful and really vibes as the vocalist wearing the badass pin made them think why not let go? While the vocals advocate that attitude.

Using keys also boosted the track a lot for its Pop/Rock theme and impressing the listeners and applying some blendy music with the tented high pitch vocals and instrumental skills.

Taking a purely gothic/symphonic approach, PRESSURE are aiming for even a bigger sound on “Sacramental Anger”. Adding more of their signature theatrical sound worked perfectly in favour of their storytelling style, with the help of extremely melodic expressive strong vocals, powerful catchy riffs, and pounding energetic drumming. “Sacramental Anger” has a dynamic structure that keeps on pushing its boundaries further, keeping the listener hooked and focused. This structure offers epic well-written twists and turns, with seamless interesting sound shifts that show an overall progression in PRESSURE’s writing.

“Sacramental Anger” is another unmistakable epic story by PRESSURE. Building on their previous releases’ sound, PRESSURE managed to take their sound further while staying true to their direction and identity. Always looking forward to more from PRESSURE, keep on rocking guys, cheers!

The very 1st thing that stole my attention in “Change Me” is the guitar work, its dominant well-crafted melodies made it the main character of Pressure’s new story. “Change Me” opens with a shredding guitar melody that sums up a lot of its sound, the guitar lines flow smoothly and freely in an interesting way throughout the whole song controlling its flow and dynamics with a great sense of melody and mood, and backing up the vocal melody touching emotional areas the vocals couldn’t hit. The conversational/storytelling vocals twisted the dynamics and created an interesting setup with bold, upfront delivery completing Pressure’s story metal formula.

“Change Me” tells an interesting story in a theatrical delivery with an extremely melodic heavy metal setup. It shows Pressure’s solid vision, songwriting skills, and clear sound direction. Looking forward to more from Pressure, Keep on rocking guys, cheers!

I doubt that “No One Can Hear You!” won’t catch your ears from the first note. It’s obvious the glorious mix of the old influences with modern metal elements, which pours originality with every single note. The trio consists of the songwriter and lead guitarist Simon “Siirpo” Forsell at the helm, vocalist Olof Jönsson and guitarist Emil Salling to deliver a remarkable melodic epic, you will notice the catchy choruses with strong back vocals, also, I am kind of guys who love it when music and lyrics are aligned, so I was really impressed to find out that these guys are very keen to deliver strong lyrical theme by depending on that there are two sides to every story – the good and the bad. So “No One Can Hear You!” or any other one you will find in their debut album “Path of a Shadow” (Out May 7th, 2021) has a double meaning. Seriously, I cannot understand modern bands these days, well, imagine you’re listening to a rock band without finding a pure melodic guitar tone or insane soloing! It is like a treasure for me when I found guys like PRESSURE to complete the perfect melodic rock/metal picture by providing melodic riffs leading to incredible guitar soloing! Thank you, guys! This is what I really need now for my 2021 library. Finally, I would like to mention that I was curious to know more about the Story Metal concept in their music, so stay tuned for my interview with these veteran stunning rockers very soon!
