When it comes to the vocals, the band’s lead singer is a powerful mezzo soprano with some androgynous qualities to her voice. It’s like Cher meets Lady Gaga, but with a rock edge. Her timbre is cool and the way her vocals are mixed with the music makes the vocals feel like an instrument rather than a show stealer, which gives the band more attitude, authenticity, and a balanced sound.
