Upon playing the bluesy rock track “Mood” by English singer/songwriter/guitarist Vincent J. Rigney, we instantly were reminded of the roaring retro 60s! With an Elvis Presley vibe, Rigney’s vocals compliment the rock track ever so much through a familiar style of singing.

“I like to write about my life in my music, past and present,” shared Rigney. “I would like to travel the world with my music someday.” The song immediately has you swaying to the beat left and right, and brings a smile to your face. “What a mood! What a mood you got me in,” sings Rigney.

A guitar solo ensues near the end of the song that perfectly captures the climax of the track, which has you replaying the song over and over again. The song is off his second EP “Steel Town Boy” which has been released very recently.

Rigney mentioned that he listens to oldies legends like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Roy Orbison, and it is evident that the music is heavily influenced by their sound, yet with a unique twist that birthed a signature sound for Rigney that is distinct and special.
