Osbourne Overcomes Health Challenges For Final Performance
In the past, Osbourne expressed that the band’s previous farewell tour, The End, didn’t feel whole without Ward. After canceling his No More Tours 2 solo tour in 2023 due to health issues, he dedicated himself to recovery and training to prepare for Back to the Beginning—his last-ever solo appearance and a long-anticipated Sabbath reunion.
A Celebration Of Heavy Metal Legends
The band’s set focused solely on tracks from their first two albums, including three songs from 1970’s Paranoid and one from their self-titled debut. Their performance wrapped up a packed day of rock and metal music, with stars like Guns N’ Roses, Steven Tyler, Pantera, Tool, Sammy Hagar, and Alice in Chains taking the stage to perform their own songs and tributes. Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich called the event a “heavy metal summer camp” in a backstage video.
