A properly inventive sound dreamt up solely by Michael Fordays, ‘To All’ is a perfect bridge between old and new. A marriage of bold and forward-thinking production and songwriting with a distinctively vintage flair.

Given to us by Michael Fordays, a Los Angeles-based guitarist, bassist, singer, and songwriter, ‘To All’ is a bold affair. With its unrelenting pace provided by the drumkit of Dave Klein who also co-producer and mixer on the single, ‘To All’ is a decidedly rock-focused song with a sound that would easily find a home on an album by The Sound or Shriekback, with its threatening riffs and oppressive flow.

Michael Fordays’s vocals are present and his brooding, drawn notes make the melodies seem darker and more intense. The riffs, intense and frenetic, doubled on the bass and guitars, are creative and absolutely addictive. Production is also another clean standout on this cut. With a reverb that is thoroughly distinctive and truly transformative to the sound, ‘To All’ flows forward with such confidence that makes it relentless. The modulated guitars tones and the novel-sounding octaving effect on the solo are a testament to Fordays’s bold lack of fear from experimenting with sounds that are removed entirely from the box.

‘To All’ is an exhilarating cut.
