Melbourne, Australia – Melbourne rock outfit Reetoxa has released their explosive new single “Thrift Shop Dress,” the first taste of their forthcoming second album. Available now on all major streaming platforms, the track is a high-energy rocker that explodes from the opening note and captures the band’s signature blend of raw power and infectious hooks.
Written in a burst of inspiration while walking to band rehearsal in Brunswick, the song was sparked by the sight of a striking north-side Melbourne girl. Jason McKee’s imagination took over, turning that fleeting moment into a fun, high-octane anthem about attraction, hesitation, and the electric thrill of possibility. “We saw this beautiful cool girl across the street that just blew our minds,” says McKee. “The song came together in a minute — pure imagination running wild on the way to practice.”
“Thrift Shop Dress” stands out as the lead single from Reetoxa’s second album — a 26-track project that proved almost impossible to choose from. This track’s immediate energy and memorable chorus made it the clear choice to launch the new chapter.
