Swedish solo project Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends announce the release of their new single, “Bells of Silver” — a warm, layered, and deeply personal song about growing up, the snapshots of childhood that stay with us, and the quiet love we carry for the people who come after us. The track is available now in its English version and will be included on a full-length album scheduled for release in May 2026. A Swedish-language version of the song also exists, extending the reach of a piece that was always rooted in something universal.

“Bells of Silver” operates on two levels simultaneously. On one, it is a heartfelt homage to the artist’s children and grandchildren — an act of love made into sound. On another, it is a deeply felt story about what it means to grow up, told through intimate snapshots from a personal childhood. The two layers don’t compete; they illuminate each other, giving the song a resonance that stretches across generations.
The production matches the emotional ambition of the writing. Beautiful, intricate drumming is provided by Andreas Quincy Dahlbäck, whose contributions give the track its rhythmic pulse and depth. David Myhr — one of Sweden’s most celebrated pop craftsmen — brings both his voice and his Hammond organ to the recording, delivering background vocals styled in the tradition of the Beach Boys: lush, layered harmonies that wrap the song in warmth and nostalgia. The combination of Dahlbäck’s drumming, Myhr’s vocals and organ, and the song’s intimate lyrical core produces something that feels as timeless as the memories it is built from.
