James Zero is a multi-talented Pennsylvanian singer-songwriter and emo musician who handles every aspect of his music, writing, producing, recording, mixing, mastering, and performing all instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and programming. Operating under Anything But Kountry Records, he recorded “PAST IS PERFECT” at The Winter Station Studios in Pennsylvania, the same studio where he created his critically acclaimed debut album Oceans (& Other Bodies of Water).
What starts as a heartfelt love song unfolds as a poignant tribute to a friend James lost years ago. The title “PAST IS PERFECT” reflects his philosophy that our past — no matter how painful shapes who we become.
