The Stevenage-based band, Steve Young & The Real Time Players, has launched their captivating rock anthem “Come Around,” which is featured on their upcoming album, ‘Famous For A Day.’ Read on for more details.

I have always held the belief that passion is what invigorates us and inspires us to rise each morning with motivation. While listening to “Come Around,” I felt a hint of annoyance. Why? Because I was genuinely upset that I hadn’t discovered Steve Young‘s remarkable music sooner.

While listening, you can easily appreciate the experience and synergy among the musicians that creates such a tight and catchy rock tune. Remember my earlier mention of passion? Last year, Steve Young became the first person to test a new mRNA cancer vaccine. According to the BBC: “An important trial of the world’s first ‘personalized’ mRNA vaccine against the deadliest form of skin cancer – melanoma – is now underway in the UK.” Given this remarkable scientific milestone, Young was selected as the first to test it: “Steve Young, 52, from Stevenage, Herts, who had a melanoma growth removed from his scalp last August, is among the first patients to receive the shot.

It is intended to help his immune system identify and eliminate any lingering cancerous cells.

And hopefully, this means his cancer will not return.”Michelle Roberts | BBC

The British guitarist and songwriter has dedicated his entire life to music. Since the ’90s, he has been successfully navigating the industry after signing a record deal with ZTT/Warner while with the band ‘Rehab.’ He later became a TV session guitarist for renowned artists such as Lionel Richie, Peter Andre, Dane Bowers, and Delta Goodrem. From 2007 to 2012, Steve performed with Darren Hayes of Savage Garden and contributed by co-writing and playing guitar on his 2012 album, ‘Secret Codes & Battleships.’

  • His career is filled with remarkable stories, and I encourage readers, especially newcomers, to explore more about his journey on his website.
