Tennessee-based Alt-Pop/Rock artist Natalie Claro creates, records, and performs all of her own music, including the songs she performs live. She spends much of her time producing her music in her own studio. Her influences come from a wide range of genres, and they’re as diverse as they are varied. Her musical tastes have evolved over the years from her early exposure to singers like Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin to more contemporary artists like Led Zeppelin and Hozier. Inspired by her energetic live performances, “Cracked Pepper” has just been released on the 15th of June.
Cracked Pepper, as its name suggests, is a spicy and tasteful composition that also possesses a strong Alternative/Indie rock influence. The song has an exuberant tempo that is so empowering, it will surely get your head banging. Natalie, who is a multi-instrumentalist and is the sole writer of her compositions, imbued the song with compelling lyrics, the sentiments of the adrenaline that comes from performance being the focal point of the tune. Her strong, passionate vocals rise over booming guitars and dazzling rhythms in this captivating song.
