The next chapter, METAL OVER TANGIER, kicks off in Morocco, marking the first of monthly concerts designed to unite local talent and international headliners in a celebration of raw, unfiltered metal energy.
Founded in 2014, Darkside Records has become a beacon for Morocco’s underground rock and metal scene, releasing groundbreaking albums and fostering a community of artists who blend traditional Maghrebi influences with the ferocity of thrash, death, and progressive metal. With a roster that includes regional heavyweights like Beneath the Shadows and Desert Wrath, the label has built a reputation for discovering raw talent and amplifying the genre’s global reach. METAL OVER is the natural evolution of this mission—a bold initiative to bring the visceral power of metal to cities worldwide, from Tangier to Athens, Tunis to Belgrade, and beyond.

METAL OVER TANGIER, set to erupt in early 2026, will feature a lineup of Morocco’s fiercest metal acts alongside international guest artists, showcasing the genre’s diversity—from blistering thrash to atmospheric doom. The event promises a fusion of raw sound, immersive stage production, and a community-driven atmosphere that celebrates both underground grit and global unity. Following Tangier, Darkside Records plans monthly concerts in cities like Rabat, Casablanca, Agadir, and Dakhla, with international stops including Rome, Athens, and New York. Each show will highlight local talent, ensuring that METAL OVER becomes a platform for emerging bands to share stages with established names.
