bigbaldben opened Disjointed with a mysterious, interesting melody that builds up into a hooking groove, smoothly inviting the listener to his world before getting into a heavy banger sound. He crafted a really interesting progression with lots of dynamic shifts that keeps the listener hooked and entertained, the deep heavy riffs with the haunting vocal melody and blasting drumming created a big wall of sound with tons of emotions. Disjointed has an organic dynamic structure with uptight build-ups and slow melodic interludes that prepares the listeners before boosting the sound again and throwing them headbanging. The guitar tone has great old-school influences and vibes that I really dig, and believe it added a lot to the song’s groove and feel.
