Italian multi-disciplinary composer, sound designer and artist Guido Affini takes a decidedly fresh and uncompromising approach to his work, with his compositions being born of a research-based ambient matrix of his own creation. His diverse influences are born from contemporary music, ambient music, idm, post rock and drone to free jazz and noise. The experimental matrix of his research is contaminated with esoteric elements and principles belonging to alternative sciences.

When listening to Guido’s art, it is immediately apparent that there are no voice boxes or feedback engines contributing to or demeaning the expression. Guido embraces a post-genre spirit, taking risks and utilizing any tool that inspires.

His latest release is the mesmerizing piece “Lulla” featuring his friend and collaborator Federico Fantuz as a guitarist. Lulla by is a soundtrack created for “Nothing”, a show by the ballet theater company Balletto Civile / Michela Lucenti.

Guido Affini, composer and sound designer of this Shakespearean drama, improvises with Electronics, granular and modular Synth and invites guitarist and producer Federico Fantuz to create a climax by playing on the original soundscape of the show.

The result is an ambient crescendo with electronic and post rock influences.
