“Infinite Wings” is a fluid sound experience by Jason Rueger and the Eyes mixing a number of sounds and influences as it was written based on a playlist as an assignment in the final week of a songwriting course instructed by Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes and mixed by Wayne Miller and released on the 12th of April, 2022.

Focusing on the mood and emotions “Infinite Wings” sounds like a flowing river of melodies and notes from those opening mellow relaxing synths mixed with chilling chords and smooth vocal melody. It smoothly progresses keeping the same mood and flow building up on the emotional side while adding a slightly groovy melody to keep things interesting. The guitar melody has a sweet melancholic touch that added to that emotional journey and kept me focused while the outro fades.

“Infinite Wings” is Jason Rueger and the Eyes’ way of mixing sounds and creating their own. I found it really enjoyable especially with its smooth flow and interesting movements, I’d like to listen to those guys explore more into psychedelic stuff I believe they can create something beautiful. Best of luck Jason Rueger and the Eyes, cheers!
