BANBURY, ENGLAND — Independent British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Music by Jeremy has announced the upcoming release of Scenes from a Well Worn Path (Side Three). Set to launch on October 25th, 2026, the new release marks the third instalment of a sprawling 24-track, four-part double album functioning as a musical autobiography.

While the first two sides of the project turned inward into personal spaces, Side Three shifts its gaze outward. Rather than delivering heavy-handed opinions or prescribing answers, the songs focus on setting out problems and observing the world with a lyricist’s precision and a philosopher’s patience.

Operating independently from his home studio in Banbury, England, Jeremy draws inspiration from storytelling icons like Bob Dylan, Randy Newman, John Lennon, and David Bowie. Working entirely on his own, he performs the core guitar and fretless bass tracks while utilizing AI tools trained on his own voice to flesh out arrangements. This unique process acts as a creative prosthetic, allowing him to ground every tight, three-to-three-and-a-half-minute track in acoustic storytelling.

The album’s tracks are rich with intellectual and narrative depth, designed to reward repeat listening:

  • “Economic Possibilities for our Grandchildren”: Borrowing its title from Keynes’s 1930 essay and opening with a line from Macbeth (“fair is foul and foul is fair”), the track diagnoses how modern abundance arrived and was captured.
  • “I Don’t Know”: A unique love song constructed as a failed mathematical proof, working through Fermat’s margin, primes, and irrational constants before arriving at a simple, unprovable truth.
  • “No Price on Earth”: The quiet, defiant opening track that establishes the side’s thesis of ordinary calm and resilience.
