The melodic/gothic metal artist Sharone releasing today her first single ‘Can We Pretend’ from her upcoming 3rd album via DI Records. Despite the melancholic atmosphere in her music, it’s full of energy indeed. Let’s discover more below!
blank‘Can We Pretend’ shows several capabilities of Sharone‘s voice from her melodic voice that has been demonstrated during the whole track leading to powerful screaming vocal-lines. The melodic/gothic influences for some big names like Lacuna Coil and Halestorm are pretty obvious for sure, along with, the stunning harmonies and melodies within the song structure.

Sharone inspirations aren’t only for the gothic metal scene but also for the classic rock icons: “The atmospheric and melodramatic music of Evanescence and the psychedelic blues of Black Sabbath inspired Sharone to start performing her music live with a full rock band backing her.”

Usually, and through the past two years, her music was acclaimed by critics and fans alike. And in my point of view, it’s worth to mention how she concerns about the music production process, you will find out that the filmography is very smart indeed, she cooperated with Kyle Lamar (director) at Digital Myle, and for cinematography and editing done by Kyle Lamar, Spencer Macy, and Alister Auguste. The video appearances are Anthony Hester (Drums), Zach Barerra (Bass), and Chris Vega (Guitar). The song has been recorded, mixed and mastered by Nick Nodurft at Rusty Sun Audio.
