The punk rock group ROCKET is Acclaimed as one of the “Best Bands to Catch” by CBS Los Angeles. Recently, the 5-piece rockers released their brand new single ‘Losing Breath’
ROCKET‘s music acclaimed by fans and critics alike. This is what you will find when you dig deeper with their songs and lyrical themes. When I listened to ‘Losing Breath’ it was very easy to stick into my head by the catchy guitar riffs and the powerful emotive vocals. Also, the band tried through the song to point out the recent events: “This song captures what this American generation has been facing with the Covid-19 Pandemic, the recent George Floyd death, worldwide protests, racism, police brutality, our current President, increase in mass shootings, suicides, and more; offering a cry out for change.”
Harmonies and melodies are pretty obvious within their music, and I mentioned earlier I like the singing technique very much. Ah! I should mention that I like guitar tones/effects, they are well-chosen indeed. Also, it’s obvious the tightness between the bass and drums here, which completes the whole picture of the track.
