Ever found yourself succumbing to your sadistic cravings? Your innermost twisted desires that have you feeling grimacing by your own wicked mind? Explore those sentiments in the latest heavy metal anthem “Sadistic Cravings (Old Ancient Cruel Desire)” by Swedish band Goia Paranoia.
The band was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2024, and they have been keeping themselves very busy over the past period with one release after the other. “This is our third single in three months,” shared the band. “Which will now lead up to the release of our full length debut album “Pandemonium Overdrive”, consisting of 8 songs in total.”
Crediting the track as the band’s favorite (so far) from their upcoming album, the song is a full sound that fills your ears with distortion and grunge. It is impossible not to headbang along to the tune, which also features an echo of harmonies by the lead vocalist that transcends beyond time and space.
As you listen to the song, you feel like you’re almost falling into a bottomless pit of doom, but by the end of the track, it takes an unexpected turn with a catchy electric guitar riff that leaves you hanging by a thread, before a triple guitar strike ends the session on a high note.
Their previous single “Black Out” carries a similar heavy feel, but with a faster quicker pace and a fuller sound that reminds us of the likes of Psychopathy Red by Slayer. Along with their other single “Scumbag Tone”, it seems that even though the band is just starting out, they’ve already figured out their signature sound!
