VaterSon is a rock duo, hailing from Malmö, Sweden. They are not your usual band; they are a father-and-son duo, hence the name. Jimmy and Andre are very talented, and they turned their love of music into incredible songs. The band is releasing a new single under the title “These City Streets.”
The band has been very active; they have released a lot of good music this year, and this new track rose to the occasion. I would say this song brought the house down; it had so much empowering energy, even if it was on the aggressive side, but it surely got me excited.
The song starts with a lot of pent-up aggression as the relentless beat takes off within seconds. The churning guitar and thrashing drums blended perfectly, setting the mood on fire. You can sense a lot of hostile and ferocious emotions when listening to the melody.

When asked in an interview about the song’s meaning, it became clear why. They said that the song is about how the cruel world we live in considers war. The anger and hostility in the song are understandable considering the dark topic that inspired the duo.
I enjoyed the energy of the song, and I could easily imagine the performance of this song would be wild and expressive. As a matter of fact, I found they have a lot of energy-inducing tracks that could set the stage on fire.
They are going to be performing at music festivals all over Sweden in the near future. If you are interested, check their page here. Also, check their latest song here.
