Everywhere else I had VANNGO’s lush overdriven guitars, heartwarming harmonies, crisp deliveries on the piano, and last but not least, Vann’s nasal and addictive vocal timbre, and his stirring words. ‘We’ll Rise LA!’ is an exceptionally well-structured piece of music that does not stick to a particular genre. A stylistically unique offering that showcases an illustrious array of talents from VANNGO.
‘We’ll Rise LA!’ is a huge amount of fun. A wonderfully balanced mix makes it a delightful listen, and a nuanced and purposeful build up and arrangement mean that each bar feels like it is taking us somewhere we ought to be. A fantastic release.
