We all sleep, we all dream…and the average time spent sleeping and dreaming is around the third of one’s life…can you imagine?

What if we can tap into this time of our lives and get the most out of it? Is this even possible? Can we at least get inspired from our dreams?

…well, sometimes, yes…like what happened with the brilliant singer/songwriter Ben Sefton…he was thoroughly inspired by a dream he had, a dream where his deepest insecurities were exposed…he woke up…and started writing “Dark Dreams”, his mesmerizing single.

After graduating from Selkirk College’s Contemporary Music & Technology Program in 2015, Ben Sefton worked tirelessly on his craft and on fine tuning his songs, which he has hundreds of that are still unreleased.

…and through the journey of a 2 minutes and 5 seconds song, Ben manages to capture our ears, hearts and soul.

Musically, “Dark Dreams” is absolutely mind blowing, this is what real music is guys…and I’m talking composition wise, arrangement, recording, mixing and mastering…everything is just perfect…”Dark Dreams” is the answer to my prayers for a truly perfect song…it’s melodic, storytelling, unsettling, dark and has humor…it doesn’t take itself too seriously…it’s emotionally balanced like nothing else I’ve experienced for a very, very long time.

…and making it a 2 minute song was a brilliant decision…the song doesn’t overwelcome its stay, in fact, it captures you and has you put it on repeat for infinity.

Infusing pop, latin, soundtrack and many more genres and elements together…Ben is one shining diamond.

“Dark Dreams” is a highly recommended listening experience that no one should miss, whatever genre you like, whatever mood you desire…”Dark Dreams” is a song for all people that want to ‘feel’ something…and that something is up to you.

Wishing all the best to Ben, I can’t get enough of “Dark Dreams”…it’s haunting.

Cheers!
