Dylan Mantica, the Italian Hard Rock band who met their bassist “Diving the stage in a concert at the Guidonia Stadium.
Dylan Mantica was formed in February 2015 in Rome, born as a project and a dream of Dylan Mantica himself. And released their first EP “A man in a whole world” which we will be reviewing in this article.
Let me first tell you a bit about the band. They consists of four members:
- Dylan Mantica: Lead Guitar
- Alessio Torri: Lead Vocal
- Marco Mercuri: Rhythm Guitar
- Tiziano Russo: Bass Guitar
The band are influenced by Aerosmith, The Beatles, Motley Crue, Steel Panther and Queen which you will notice in their vocals, as Alessio vocals are much like Freddie Mercury’s.
The band’s music is astonishing and it’s really walking aside with the lyrics and vocals, as they are all on the same path and line, but I believe the quality of the tracks need to be enhanced a bit.
The vocals are epic, so are the riffs and solos, however the lyrics aren’t that powerful; they were kind of weak compared to the dominant solos.
I think what are missing in Dylan Mantica are more effective solos; solos that might move emotions inside you just like what might vocals do. Combining such vocals with a more professional and meaningful solos would lift the band up.
I’m actually very impressed by In Every Time track and I think it’s the best in this EP, I think you should give it a listen and tell us what you think in the comments below.
