Let’s merge Ukulele, Rockabilly, and Punk Rock to craft a distinctive sound that stands out from any other release. Drawing inspiration from legends like Queen, The Clash, Talking Heads, and Elvis, Angus Crowne and the Family Jewels deliver an extraordinary experience with their fifth album, Everybody Wants To See Me Happy. Let’s explore it together!

The Miami-based artist Angus Crowne, often referred to as The Godfather of Uke-Billy-Punk Rock, along with his band the Family Jewels, offers an impressive variety that is rarely found in contemporary releases. Their 10-track album showcases a distinct sound in each song, blending the rebellious spirit of punk rock with the smooth jazzy tones of “Lullaby Blues Revisited.” Angus explains, “My music can be quirky, but it’s also aggressive and soft, which is why I had to create my own genre: Uke-Billy Punk Rock! For me, it encapsulates the fundamental emotions we all experience in life.”
