The sixth single by London-based singer/songwriter, Tom Minor titled “It’s the Wind, Stupid” carries a storyline about two ladies living completely contrasting lives; one lives in the city, and the other roams the countryside. This chance encounter between Minor and the two ladies takes place on a train back to the Home Counties.

“Sarah was in banking in the City,” sings Minor in a heavy British accent. “Angie was road-running through the country.” In his eyes, they were both equally “outrageous, brash and free.”

This classic rock tune – with a touch of pop prowess – was produced by Teaboy Palmer, and it carries soft guitar strums with a pumping drum kick that is catchy to the ear. Minor’s vocals are low and mellow, as he tells the story of the two opposite women in a storyline that brims with betrayal, lost love, and longing.

His poetic lyricism is powered by the full sound of the song that has you feeling like you’re being told a bedtime story. And with every single Minor puts out, he proves that his versatility extends beyond just putting out catchy melodies, but also meaningful tunes.
