Founded in 2018 by multi-instrumentalist Thomas, Savagegroup embodies authentic heavy music created on the artist’s own terms. Thomas began his musical journey on the drums at just three years old and later mastered guitar, bass, and keyboards out of sheer necessity to bring the countless heavy riffs and melodies in his head to life exactly as he envisioned them. He handles all tracking in his own studio. After a desperate search for the right vocalist, Thomas stepped up to the microphone himself, vowing never to release a “just instrumental” record, even if the early vocal sessions left the band rolling on the floor laughing.
Today, Thomas is joined by rhythm guitarist Daniel (affectionately dubbed the “rhythm slave”) and bassist Thomas. Both are exceptionally gifted musicians, absolute brothers in arms, and pure, big-hearted metalheads. The band’s name, Savagegroup, perfectly reflects their unique spirit: even as they grow older, the members have happily kept a wild, chaotic, and wonderfully crazy inner child alive.
Following their 2018 debut album Wall of Fear (delivering classic 80s and 90s Melodic Metal) and Thomas’s 2020 solo hard rock excursion Trust Me, the trio has spent the last few years meticulously crafting their highly anticipated next full-length record, Fallen Angel, set for release in 2027. Speeding unapologetically toward their 60s, Savagegroup has officially embraced their status as a dedicated studio project.
