There are song covers…and there are re-imagination of iconic songs…
…and this takes a lot of courage and creativity…which is why Indigo Daydream is a unique musical project, as they had the courage to attempt a re-imagination of The Beatles “Strawberry Fields”…and the creativity to craft a unique experience doing so.
They didn’t even stop there…Indigo Daydream created a short film set to be released along with the song “Strawberry Fields Forever” on May the 26th.
These kinds of artists are the reason why the world pushes forward and evolves…
They challenge reality and push the limits…then another artist with a similar mindset comes along and pushes it even further…and that’s one of the reasons how we evolve as humans…and as artists.
Indigo Daydreams’ “Strawberry Fields Forever” is like an alternate version of reality of the original “Strawberry Fields”…
The ambient mood of the reverberated vocals and atmospheric pads is a dream to experience…
…but there are some edgy elements, like the rock drums and the reverberated grungy guitars…
…there are also some cinematic elements fused in between the verses and choruses, I don’t want to spoil the fun, but you’ll hear the subtle orchestration in there…
All of these elements, along with the creativity and mindset of Indigo Daydream, creates an alternate version in an alternate universe for The Beatles’ “Strawberry Fields”.
