The latest single from D’Ambrosia is the sweet bluesy rock track, Sucker For Your Love. The song is a three minute vocally driven song, with guitars and drums reminiscent of many indie and alternative bands but nothing is really overdone or overproduced, meaning that the purist/classic rock fan can find elements in the instrumental to enjoy here, as well as the blues fan.

The song begins with a heavily effected guitar sound and Kim D’Ambrogi’s romantic ethereal vocals shortly follow it. The moment she sings that serene verse, you feel elements from the sweet timbre of Stevie Nicks and the seductive playfulness of Amy Winehouse. She’s definitely one of the finest vocalists nowadays.

The chorus soars above the verses, although it’s a clear single layer of vocals (or at least no prominent backing vocals) but it’s powerful and effective enough to remain in your memory for days after you listen to the track.

Last but not least, the bass guitar, drums, and the vocal mixing all make an amazing 60s-70s psychedelic undertone in the midst of the modern production. It’s truly a mindblowing fusion of elements from multiple eras and subgenres of rock.

All in all, this track deserves to be played on all major playlists and rock radios, because it’s got what it takes to make a hit song.
