Get bored for a split second.

Keep looking at your screen.

Is your attention still here?

Hardcore rock band Veg. released their short debut single “Technology” on the 10th of March from Birmingham, United Kingdom.

How do you discuss epistemological luddism in less time than Spotify would recognize as a song? Veg. did it with “Technology” and their statement on the side effect of the technological warfare on attention is appropriately and ironically brief in its own right

With a song structure that could have been padded out to a lengthier track, the brevity of “Technology” is very much an intentional choice.

Veg. challenge traditional notions of what a song is, which inspired me to challenge the form of the conventional song review myself. Now, what are you going to challenge?
