British singer-songwriter Zachary Mason is set to release his heartfelt new EP Welcome To My Heart today, marking a poignant return to his folk origins after a two-year exploration into rock music.

The three-track EP is a deeply personal and emotive collection filled with reflection, melancholy, and resilience. The opening track vividly recounts a period when medication dulled the artist’s ability to fully experience the emotional depth of autumn, a season close to his heart. The EP continues in this introspective vein with the tracks “I Need Freedom” and “Me And I” (Mason’s personal favorite), delivering raw vulnerability and quiet strength.

The EP was mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated American producer and engineer David E Beats (based in Toulouse, France), who also contributed rhythm guitar and bass on the second track. Additional standout performances come from Nate Barnes (drummer for critically acclaimed rock band Rose Hill Drive) on tracks 2 and 3, and John Thomasson (bassist for Little Big Town) on the final track.

“This EP is a return to where I feel most at home — honest, acoustic-driven storytelling,” says Zachary Mason.
