If I hear the word ‘nostalgia’…I’m on board.

…but instead of that ear-catching word, I heard the first 5 seconds of Alta Falls latest song “Tried To Forget About”…and I’m hooked.

With 80s nostalgic synth sounds fueling the song and our emotions, we get completely sucked into a time whole, and emerge in a different world.

Alta Falls is a musical duo from Brisbane, Australia…and for their latest single “Tried To Forget About” they rekindled their teamwork with producer Aidan Hogg (G Flip, Jaguar Jonze, Holy Holy) and drummer Sebastian ‘Baz’ Jennings Hingston (Tia Gostelow).

The song starts with an 80s-fueled intro only to kick into high gear and takes a modern twist, fusing shuffle beats and modern-sounding instrumentation, while keeping the big synth 80s chords as the solid foundation and backbone of the song…which is the staple of that time period.

“Tried To Forget About” induces an anthemic feel through its layered and harmonious vocal lines, which inevitably seizes the audience’s heart, taking them through emotional verses and anthemic nostalgic choruses…and that’s where the strength of “Tried To Forget About” lies…

…Alta Falls manages to take us back in time into the future with mixing nostalgic and futuristic sounds and musical elements…and that is why we love Alta Falls, they always manage to erupt emotions from within ourselves and keep it fresh and full of character.

We wish all the best for the musical duo, hoping to see them fill a stadium and having the audience chant their anthemic songs, bringing people together…you deserve all the best.

Cheers!
