Armed with an acoustic guitar and soft-spoken vocals, London-based singer/songwriter EyLo attacked our hearts with a heartfelt tune “Caught in the Rain”. With raindrops dancing around a loving couple, the song captures a moment in time cherished ever so delightfully.
“Caught in the Rain” is a tender love song that captures the magic of an unexpected moment,” shared EyLo. “Set on a cloudy Sunday, it tells the story of a couple taking a leisurely stroll when a sudden downpour catches them off guard. As raindrops dance around them, the guy finds the courage to express his feelings for her, mesmerized by her beauty illuminated in the gray light. The melody is sweet and melodic, perfectly reflecting the warmth and intimacy of this heartfelt confession amidst the storm.”
The track carries an indie element to it, which feels like you’ve stumbled upon a hidden gem while you listen to it. It was recorded at Walrus Studio in Forest Hill, London, with the production by Josh. Near the end of the song, EyLo perfectly switches into head voice and the song reaches new heights with this turn of vocal events.
EyLo plays gigs all over London, and the biggest venues where he has performed include “The Bedford” in Balham and “The Half Moon” in Putney. With his latest release, EyLo’s future seems brighter than ever – perhaps with a Sepia tone to match his album art!
