CORK CITY, IRELAND — There is no better day for a song like this than Halloween. Suzy’s Field — the Cork City trio comprising the three O’Keeffe brothers, younger siblings of acclaimed actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers — drop their new single “Where Do You Go?” on October 31, 2026: a masterclass in 70s-inspired Halloween funk with a decidedly modern edge that the band calls, with complete accuracy, “throwback spooky funk.”

70s-inspired spooky funk with Michael McDonald harmonies and Nile Rodgers guitars. Equal parts nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary. A seasonal soundtrack that has no business being this groovy — and absolutely intends to be.

“Where Do You Go?” draws heavily from two of the most distinctive sonic signatures of the 1970s: the smooth, warm vocal stylings of Michael McDonald and the rhythmic, precision-driven guitar innovations of Nile Rodgers. Filtered through the O’Keeffe brothers’ own musical sensibility and a meticulous approach to production developed over more than two decades of playing together, the result is a track that channels vintage influence through a thoroughly present-day lens.

It is a Halloween song that doesn’t rely on cheap atmosphere. The spookiness is in the groove itself — the way the funk moves with that particular slightly-unsettling ease, the harmonies that sit just warmly enough to make you uncertain whether something is lurking beneath them. Fun and uncanny in equal measure. A party track with a shadow.

The creative process behind “Where Do You Go?” began in February 2026 when Suzy’s Field checked into Migration Studios — a converted farm and residential recording facility nestled in the Gloucestershire countryside — for a full creative retreat. Living and breathing the music together, they laid down six tracks during the stay, finishing this one with additional overdubs and mixing completed back in their home studios.

There is something about the residential recording experience — the shared meals, the late nights, the physical proximity of brothers who have been making music together since the early 2000s — that produces a particular kind of intimacy on tape. “Where Do You Go?” has it.

Suzy’s Field are the three O’Keeffe brothers from Cork City, Ireland — and while their family connection to Jonathan Rhys Meyers is a conversation starter, their music has been doing the talking since 2003. Over more than two decades of releases, they have built a sound that bridges nostalgic influences with contemporary sensibilities, developing a musical chemistry that only comes from brothers who have been playing together most of their lives.

With performances planned for Jersey in autumn 2027, Suzy’s Field are entering a new and exciting chapter in an enduring career.
